2003 - Le retour aux origines

J’ai 12 ans quand je retourne au Vietnam pour la première fois.
Un voyage en famille… mais surtout une rencontre.

C’est la première fois que je découvre ma famille du côté paternel.
Des visages que je ne connaissais pas encore, mais avec lesquels le lien semblait déjà là.

Je découvre un pays que je ne connais pas vraiment…
et pourtant, tout me paraît familier.

C’est à ce moment-là que quelque chose s’ancre.
Un lien avec le Vietnam, avec mes racines, que je ne saurai jamais vraiment expliquer… mais que je n’ai jamais perdu.

2017

Le lien qui se renforce

Je retourne au Vietnam en famille, quelques années après mon premier voyage.
Mais cette fois, le regard est différent.

Je ne découvre plus seulement un pays,
je commence à vraiment le comprendre.

Au fil des journées, je redécouvre aussi ma famille autrement.
Ma tante, que tout le monde appelle affectueusement “la tata sinh tố”, tient son stand de jus dans les rues animées de Saïgon.

Un détail simple, presque banal…
mais qui rend tout beaucoup plus réel, beaucoup plus proche

Je partage aussi des moments précieux avec ma grand-mère, Bà nội,
sans savoir à ce moment-là que ce serait la dernière fois que je la voyais..

Le Vietnam n’est plus seulement un souvenir d’enfance.
Il devient un lieu où je me sens profondément bien.

2024 - Le Vietnam à sept

Il y a des voyages qu'on fait pour soi. Et puis il y a ceux qu'on construit pour les autres — et qui finissent par être les plus beaux.

En 2024, j'ai co-organisé un voyage au Vietnam pour sept personnes. Famille et amis réunis, trois semaines devant nous, et un pays que je connais depuis toujours à leur faire découvrir.

Du nord montagneux de Hanoï et ses ruelles qui s'éveillent au petit matin, jusqu'aux plages du sud et la chaleur moite de Saïgon. Nous avons traversé les trois régions du Vietnam, chacune avec son caractère, ses saveurs, son rythme propre.

Organiser un voyage à sept, ce n'est pas la même chose qu'organiser un voyage en solo. Il faut penser aux rythmes et envies de chacun.

Ce voyage m'a appris autant sur l'organisation que sur le Vietnam lui-même. Aujourd'hui, c'est cette expérience collective que je mets à votre disposition.

2024 -

Noël au Vietnam,

une autre façon de fêter

Fin 2024, je retourne au Vietnam pour la seconde fois de l’année. Trois semaines, Noël et le Nouvel An sur place — une façon de célébrer les fêtes autrement.

Ha Giang d'abord. La boucle, les montagnes, les routes qui donnent le vertige. Un endroit qui ne ressemble à rien d'autre au Vietnam..

Mais ce voyage, c'était aussi les retrouvailles en famille. Les repas improvisés chez des proches,

Noël et le Nouvel An quelque part entre le nord et le sud du Vietnam. Ces moments-là, on ne les trouve dans aucun guide.

2026 - CapToVietnam voit le jour.
